Helpful Notes Before You Measure
- Use a soft, flexible measuring tape.
- Keep the tape level — not too tight or too loose.
- Measure over bare skin, not clothing.
Measuring Guide for You
When measuring yourself for a piece of women’s clothing, the most important measurements are:
-
- Chest (Bust)
- Waist
- Hip circumference
- Inseam (for pants or trousers)
How to measure chest/bust:
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it under your arms and across your shoulder blades. It should sit snugly — but not tightly — against your body.
Tip: For the best result, wear a non-padded bra while measuring.
How to measure waist:
Find your natural waistline — usually about 2 inches (5 cm) above your belly button. One easy trick: bend slightly to one side, and the crease that forms is your natural waist. Wrap the tape around this point.
Tip: Stand relaxed — don’t suck in your stomach, or the number won’t be true to fit.
How to measure hips:
Stand tall with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and bum — typically around 8 inches (20 cm) below your waist. Use a mirror to check that the tape is level all the way around.
Tip: You can also measure the fullest part of your thigh if needed by wrapping the tape around the top of one thigh.
How to measure inseam:
Measure from the top of your inner thigh straight down to your ankle. Or, for a shortcut, use your best-fitting pants — lay them flat on a hard surface and measure from the crotch seam to the hem.
Tip: Make sure the fabric is smooth with no bumps or folds for a more accurate reading.
How to Measure Your Waist For a Dress?
Waistlines on dresses can vary, so here’s how to get the most accurate result:
Find the narrowest part of your torso (your natural waist). If it’s tricky to locate, try sliding the tape up and down around your middle until you find the smallest number — that’s the one.
Tip: Once you’ve found it, simply double that number to get your full waist circumference.

-About top:
Inspired by the opulent court gowns of medieval Hungary, the Princess Stardello top takes a timeless silhouette and reimagines it with our signature modern flair. The open-front bodice, the iconic lace-up structure, and those voluminous puffed sleeves — all fully formed by the 17th century. And guess what? That timeless silhouette still speaks fashion fluently today.
We carefully chose two exquisite jacquard chenille fabrics to create a stunning contrast — one, a regal purple threaded with classic medieval motifs that seem to glow with depth and drama; the other, a soft, serene apricot base adorned with understated plum blossom patterns, subtle and graceful. One bold, one demure — the harmony between opulence and restraint? Pure magic.
Lined with a coordinating stretch satin that shimmers with a silk-like glow, the inner structure feels as luxurious as it looks. It features our signature fishbone design for a sculpted yet flexible shape that flatters with poise.
Part of our annual ÀMonBelAmour heritage collection, ‘Princess Stardello’ continues the legacy of traditional Hungarian front bodices, seamlessly blended with contemporary accents. The classic mutton sleeves are a nod to vintage elegance—with a relaxed upper arm cut to gracefully cover while the fitted lower sleeve subtly elongates the arms and we added 52 adjustable lace-up loops along the forearms — yes, fifty-two — for that custom fit with serious style.
And here’s a little secret: the sleeves? Fully detachable. The top can shift from statement to simplicity with ease, making it perfect for wearing through all seasons.
A violet satin ribbon laces into a charming bow at the back — not just lovely, but thoughtfully placed to prevent shoulder slips. At the front, antique-inspired steel clasps for easy wear, while the cotton lace-up back, finished with golden bell charms and metal eyelets, adds a touch of old-world charm.
Every detail of the Princess Stardello top is crafted with care, drawing from history, polished for today—and yes, we’re obsessed. Aren’t you?
-About skirt:
This skirt is where dreamy layers meet polished structure. Designed with a stunning trio of tulle layers—soft and sheer for that airy feel, firm for gentle volume and shape—it strikes the perfect balance between romantic and refined.
We chose a satin lining with a subtle glow and triangle-threaded texture that catches the light just enough, offering a silk-like softness that feels as good as it looks.
It features a high-waisted puff silhouette with cascading pleats that gracefully conceal the waist while elongating the legs. The carefully proportioned tiers? They’re our secret to that effortlessly taller, slimmer look.
We added a wide, elastic waistband with thoughtful stretch—more flattering, more forgiving, more wearable. And every gathered fold of mesh and lining is stitched with care and delicate precision—light, fluid, never stiff.
• Dry cleaning is the best way to extend the life of your item.
• Hand wash in cold water, using a gentle detergent. Gently and slowly swish the garment then rinse with cold water. Remove excess water by rolling the garment in a towel and gently pressing to absorb lingering moisture. Ensure the garment keeps its shape by laying flat or hanging to dry.
• Use a steamer to get out creases in your item or simply iron inside-out on low heat, putting a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
