Helpful Notes Before You Measure
- Use a soft, flexible measuring tape.
- Keep the tape level — not too tight or too loose.
- Measure over bare skin, not clothing.
Measuring Guide for You
When measuring yourself for a piece of women’s clothing, the most important measurements are:
-
- Chest (Bust)
- Waist
- Hip circumference
- Inseam (for pants or trousers)
How to measure chest/bust:
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it under your arms and across your shoulder blades. It should sit snugly — but not tightly — against your body.
Tip: For the best result, wear a non-padded bra while measuring.
How to measure waist:
Find your natural waistline — usually about 2 inches (5 cm) above your belly button. One easy trick: bend slightly to one side, and the crease that forms is your natural waist. Wrap the tape around this point.
Tip: Stand relaxed — don’t suck in your stomach, or the number won’t be true to fit.
How to measure hips:
Stand tall with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and bum — typically around 8 inches (20 cm) below your waist. Use a mirror to check that the tape is level all the way around.
Tip: You can also measure the fullest part of your thigh if needed by wrapping the tape around the top of one thigh.
How to measure inseam:
Measure from the top of your inner thigh straight down to your ankle. Or, for a shortcut, use your best-fitting pants — lay them flat on a hard surface and measure from the crotch seam to the hem.
Tip: Make sure the fabric is smooth with no bumps or folds for a more accurate reading.
How to Measure Your Waist For a Dress?
Waistlines on dresses can vary, so here’s how to get the most accurate result:
Find the narrowest part of your torso (your natural waist). If it’s tricky to locate, try sliding the tape up and down around your middle until you find the smallest number — that’s the one.
Tip: Once you’ve found it, simply double that number to get your full waist circumference.

An everyday fairytale with comfort built in – that’s ‘Ebele’.
Can we talk about the bolero first? She’s too good. Cropped and perfectly fitted, we used a high-density 16-stitch edging along the neckline, cuffs, and hem for a clean finish that holds its shape beautifully. After three rounds of pre-shrinking, this little cardi stays just as lovely wear after wear. The best detail? Flared cuffs that start from the wrist and gently fan out – so flattering, and so dreamy. We chose a lightweight 0.2mm crinkled fabric with delicate 3D embroidery, finished with a memory-set texture that keeps its artful waves even after washing.
As for the dress – we made it with your prettiest, easiest days in mind. The adjustable straps, built-in custom bra pads, and structured bust with hand-sewn beaded trim are all about making life easier while looking your prettiest. Up close, you’ll notice pearl-like embroidery blooming right across the neckline – softly catching the light like a shimmer at dusk.
The bodice is supported by four internal boning lines that taper gracefully from bust to waist, hugging the body like it was made just for you. The U-shaped waist cut subtly sculpts your silhouette, while the smocked back and hidden side zip make for a snug, comfortable fit. We used 100% combed cotton for the outer fabric – breathable yet crisp, with just the right amount of structure, and lined the skirt with weighty satin to feel silky-soft and fully opaque.
• Dry cleaning is the best way to extend the life of your item.
• Hand wash in cold water, using a gentle detergent. Gently and slowly swish the garment then rinse with cold water. Remove excess water by rolling the garment in a towel and gently pressing to absorb lingering moisture. Ensure the garment keeps its shape by laying flat or hanging to dry.
• Use a steamer to get out creases in your item or simply iron inside-out on low heat, putting a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
