Helpful Notes Before You Measure
- Use a soft, flexible measuring tape.
- Keep the tape level — not too tight or too loose.
- Measure over bare skin, not clothing.
Measuring Guide for You
When measuring yourself for a piece of women’s clothing, the most important measurements are:
-
- Chest (Bust)
- Waist
- Hip circumference
- Inseam (for pants or trousers)
How to measure chest/bust:
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it under your arms and across your shoulder blades. It should sit snugly — but not tightly — against your body.
Tip: For the best result, wear a non-padded bra while measuring.
How to measure waist:
Find your natural waistline — usually about 2 inches (5 cm) above your belly button. One easy trick: bend slightly to one side, and the crease that forms is your natural waist. Wrap the tape around this point.
Tip: Stand relaxed — don’t suck in your stomach, or the number won’t be true to fit.
How to measure hips:
Stand tall with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and bum — typically around 8 inches (20 cm) below your waist. Use a mirror to check that the tape is level all the way around.
Tip: You can also measure the fullest part of your thigh if needed by wrapping the tape around the top of one thigh.
How to measure inseam:
Measure from the top of your inner thigh straight down to your ankle. Or, for a shortcut, use your best-fitting pants — lay them flat on a hard surface and measure from the crotch seam to the hem.
Tip: Make sure the fabric is smooth with no bumps or folds for a more accurate reading.
How to Measure Your Waist For a Dress?
Waistlines on dresses can vary, so here’s how to get the most accurate result:
Find the narrowest part of your torso (your natural waist). If it’s tricky to locate, try sliding the tape up and down around your middle until you find the smallest number — that’s the one.
Tip: Once you’ve found it, simply double that number to get your full waist circumference.

-About the dress:
We couldn’t source the exact look we had in mind, so we made it ourselves using lace we absolutely love. Sometimes the best things are the ones you can’t buy… so you create them.
The slip dress is made from a glossy satin that catches the light like mother-of-pearl—smooth, heavy, and rich with a pearly glow. Compared to our last versions, this fabric has more weight and density, but it still flows softly, with a gentle sheerness that feels luxurious rather than bare. It’s slightly see-through in daylight, so we recommend pairing it with nipple covers and nude shorts for ease. And yes, it’s satin—delicate by nature, so treat it with care.
We didn’t add lining this time. Why? Because we tried, and it ruined the shape. The fabric needed to stay clean and breathable, especially under the corset. Adding more layers made everything feel bulky and uncomfortable—not the sleek, summer-ready feel we were after.
The silhouette itself is loose, straight-cut, and super relaxed. Without the corset, it’s an easy slip-on; with it, the look transforms completely. The front features only one seam across the lace panel, which was designed precisely to keep the fit elegant and the bodyline clean.
Each lace panel is cut with care using a matching-grid technique, but because the floral motifs vary slightly, the pattern placement may differ slightly on each dress. Tiny handmade flowers and a soft milky-yellow ribbon finish the bodice with a sweet, feminine touch.
If you’re petite, pay attention to the length—it may fall longer on you. And for taller girls, it might feel a bit shorter, depending on your frame. The good news? The hem is easy to alter without fuss, so you can fold the length slightly inside to suit your height.
-About the underbust corset:
This one’s a stunner—but a quick heads-up: it’s not for everyone. The cut is designed to hug tightly at the waist and bring out a full, curved bustline. If you’d rather not accentuate that area, this may not be the best match for you.
It zips at the side, with inner structure reinforced by boning and a structured lining. The lace overlay keeps things soft and dreamy, while the hidden stretch band in a warm brown shade helps create a snug yet flexible fit. A delicate embroidered flower sits at the center for a quiet detail that ties everything together.
• Dry cleaning is the best way to extend the life of your item.
• Hand wash in cold water, using a gentle detergent. Gently and slowly swish the garment then rinse with cold water. Remove excess water by rolling the garment in a towel and gently pressing to absorb lingering moisture. Ensure the garment keeps its shape by laying flat or hanging to dry.
• Use a steamer to get out creases in your item or simply iron inside-out on low heat, putting a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
