BRAND ETHOS

À MON BEL AMOUR IS A PROUDLY FEMALE-FOUNDED AND FEMALE-LED BRAND. WHEN YOU SHOP WITH US, YOU’RE NOT ONLY SUPPORTING OUR DREAM — YOU’RE UPLIFTING WOMEN IN BUSINESS, TOO.

ETHICAL ORIGINS

Each collection is thoughtfully brought to life in close collaboration with our trusted manufacturing partner in Guangzhou, China. Together with skilled local artisans, we craft romantic designs with care, intention, and respect.

We’re proud to produce in a small workshop that upholds fair wages, safe working conditions, and ethical values — because beautiful things should never come at the cost of people or the planet.

Mindfully
MADE TO LAST

We work in small batches, often using upcycled or natural fabrics sourced from renowned mills in France, Italy, Japan, and across China. Many of our pieces exist in very limited quantities — sometimes as few as 5 or 10. Once a style sells out, we may not be able to make it again, and that’s part of what makes it special.

Our made-to-order approach follows the same philosophy: low-waste, intentional, and personal. We create only what’s needed, repurpose leftover fabrics into matching accessories, and recycle what remains.

Craftsmanship

We take pride in knowing that creating good things takes time and that our design and small-scale handmade production processes result in lasting pieces that get even better with wear.

GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME

Every collection is grounded in our love of bespoke techniques and beautiful finishings.  We are known for our hand-painted floral prints, ornate hand-embroidered fabrics, intricate handmade crochet and lace, and elaborate trims.

HANDWORK

We create custom fabrics inspired by techniques used in the 1800s that include buttery distressed mesh with lace embroidered floral appliqués, hand-rolled flower details, and our Battenburg lace. We also create custom dobbies, Swiss dots, jacquards, delicate laces, novelty trims, yarn-dyed florals, and stripes.

CUSTOM FABRICS AND TRIMS

We engage skilled artisans, and create job opportunities for lost-art traditions. Our elaborate jacquards are created on handlooms. A hand-sewn sequin gown requires hundreds of hours to make. Artists create our signature hand-brushed prints. We utilize old-world hand blocking traditions as well as ombre and garment-dipped techniques using Batik or Shibori dyes.

A FINAL NOTE

We believe in slow fashion that celebrates femininity, craftsmanship, and culture. From boned corsetry and delicate lace to fishtail silhouettes and custom in-house prints — our designs are meant to be cherished, not tossed. With care, they’ll stay in your wardrobe for seasons to come.

Merci for being part of our story.
