Helpful Notes Before You Measure
- Use a soft, flexible measuring tape.
- Keep the tape level — not too tight or too loose.
- Measure over bare skin, not clothing.
Measuring Guide for You
When measuring yourself for a piece of women’s clothing, the most important measurements are:
-
- Chest (Bust)
- Waist
- Hip circumference
- Inseam (for pants or trousers)
How to measure chest/bust:
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it under your arms and across your shoulder blades. It should sit snugly — but not tightly — against your body.
Tip: For the best result, wear a non-padded bra while measuring.
How to measure waist:
Find your natural waistline — usually about 2 inches (5 cm) above your belly button. One easy trick: bend slightly to one side, and the crease that forms is your natural waist. Wrap the tape around this point.
Tip: Stand relaxed — don’t suck in your stomach, or the number won’t be true to fit.
How to measure hips:
Stand tall with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and bum — typically around 8 inches (20 cm) below your waist. Use a mirror to check that the tape is level all the way around.
Tip: You can also measure the fullest part of your thigh if needed by wrapping the tape around the top of one thigh.
How to measure inseam:
Measure from the top of your inner thigh straight down to your ankle. Or, for a shortcut, use your best-fitting pants — lay them flat on a hard surface and measure from the crotch seam to the hem.
Tip: Make sure the fabric is smooth with no bumps or folds for a more accurate reading.
How to Measure Your Waist For a Dress?
Waistlines on dresses can vary, so here’s how to get the most accurate result:
Find the narrowest part of your torso (your natural waist). If it’s tricky to locate, try sliding the tape up and down around your middle until you find the smallest number — that’s the one.
Tip: Once you’ve found it, simply double that number to get your full waist circumference.

The Mollee dress is that quiet statement piece you’ll keep reaching for. Double straps frame the neckline beautifully, while hand-stitched pearl and gold bead chains add a soft glow. The satin backing is soft on the skin and easily adjustable. A self-fabric camellia blooms at the front—such a lovely nod to spring, and the W-shaped seam under the bust subtly lifts and flatters.
Due to the unique fabric, every ‘Mollee’ goes through a meticulous check-matching process. Yes, it takes more time and material, but we believe true style is in the details – and the ‘Mollee’ is proof. The dress features a tailored waist and slight A-line cut for a slimming silhouette while the bonded lining brings soft structure and comfort.
We finished the hem with a delicate hand-frayed technique to showcase the rich woven texture of the tweed, giving the whole look that layered, luxurious feel. And don’t worry – we reinforced the edges with tight stitching, so you can wear ‘Mollee’ confidently without fearing frays or loose threads.
Crafted from imported Chanel-inspired boucle tweed, the dress brings back the timeless Parisian mood in a fresh, modern way. From custom colorwork to the weaving process, every yarn was chosen with care – think butterfly paper yarn, loop yarn, cotton, slub yarn – all working together to create a visually rich, tactile check pattern.
The result? A dreamy, dimensional texture with a fluid yet structured drape. Thanks to a thoughtful cotton blend (hello 53% softness), the fabric stays breathable and comfy all day long, even when the temperatures rise. And with polyester and nylon woven in, durability meets effortless maintenance – wrinkle-resistant, no-fuss, always polished.
• Dry cleaning is the best way to extend the life of your item.
• Hand wash in cold water, using a gentle detergent. Gently and slowly swish the garment then rinse with cold water. Remove excess water by rolling the garment in a towel and gently pressing to absorb lingering moisture. Ensure the garment keeps its shape by laying flat or hanging to dry.
• Use a steamer to get out creases in your item or simply iron inside-out on low heat, putting a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
